What are the Mobility Services APIs?

You can use the Mobility Services APIs to enhance and personalize your applications by leveraging the capabilities of the different components of the Cisco Connected Mobile Experiences (CMX) solution.

The APIs are a set of REST endpoints exposed by the Cisco Mobility Services Engine (MSE), the platform that helps organizations increase visibility into the network, customize location-based services, and strengthen security.

All of the APIs are RESTful allowing you to use them across languages, platforms, and frameworks. Using the APIs, you can develop application solutions that will use real-time intelligence gathered from your Wi-Fi network to enable people and their devices to interact more effectively through real-time contextual information such as location, temperature, availability of a user, or mobile device asset.

Via the APIs, the data collected can be leveraged by any business application that needs it, to allow full integration into your business processes or those of your customers.
